We were selected for the final shortlist for our pitch to this magnificent National Trust property in Derby. The brief was to bring the history of the hall and it's collections alive. My concept was based on the use of Kedleston as a film location. The exterior was to have a red 'carpet' of gravel leading to the hall, with 100 gold balloons flying from the roof. In the Bedroom, Dining Room and Ballroom, film montages would be screened on the bed, the table and the floor. Film material from the Kedleston archives, contributions from locals and well known film scenes relating to the rooms were to be edited together.
