Objects are important. Our objects speak for us, tell stories about us, show others who we are. From the cup you use to drink your morning coffee to the pillowcase you rest your head on last thing at night, I believe the objects we choose to surround ourselves with should enhance our daily lives.
The essence of my business is to explore our relationship with everyday objects. I’m interested in the significance of objects that are seen throughout history and found in all cultures - milagros, lucky charms, amulets - which provide solace, support and healing to us in trying times. It is important to me that my work connects on an emotional level, to foster beautiful relationships that give joy and pleasure and make people smile.
These values and connections between people & objects, creativity & culture and heritage & humour all feed into my work with cultural institutions, whether it’s a bespoke product for a museum shop, a product launch, Museum Late event or a family activity workshop. I playfully re-imagine and re-present everyday objects and places, transforming them into thoughtful and unexpected products or experiences and inviting people to reassess their relationships with them.
What I can do for your cultural institution
I can help you to stand out in a competitive market by bringing a fresh, thoughtful and fun perspective to your stories, illuminating all that is great, distinctive and cherished. I’d love to design a product for your shop, create an event for a Museum Late or design and deliver a learning workshop activity drawing on your rich heritage. I will always make the most of what is unique about your cultural institution. l will work with you to enhance your brand - creating an exciting buzz that brings new life to your collections, attracts new audiences and encourages deeper engagement. I will give your visitors a valuable and lasting reminder of their experience to take away with them.
