As Lead Artist and Gallery Educator, I have had the pleasure of designing and delivering creative gallery-based learning for over 15 years with many fantastic places including The National Maritime Museum, The Natural History Museum, The British Library, The V&A, University of the Arts London and the Museum Of The Home.
I employ a multi-sensory and playful approach using a wide range of materials and processes. This approach encourages exploration and discovery, allowing deeper engagement with the collections for schoolchildren, families, early years, SEN and young people. Working in nature is very important to me - outdoor learning, along with art and craft activities, have been proven to reduce stress and anxiety and help children develop holistically, improving their confidence and self-esteem. Supporting children's, young people's and adult's health and emotional wellbeing is at the heart of all my sessions.
